Eastcoast with Jade.

"It's my rest day ate". I turned around and it was Jade, who just recently woke up.

Aghast by her statement; can't really believe that my over workaholic friend took a rest day.

Let's go! She said. 

After two hours she took me to Eastcoast and we had our lunch- crab and seafood rice along with super refreshing coconut juice.

The weather was sort of gloomy at first, but it won't definitely spoil our day.

We rented a bike for two hours, and explored Eastcoast. We went to the fishing zone. 

Dear Indonesia,

I've been to different parts of the world, but I can say that this memory had been stamped in my heart. My love for you is next to Interlaken. Philippines had so many beautiful islands but I will definitely comeback here. People are so warm, and I can stay in the hammock the entire day as it was so peaceful. I wish I could stay one more day, but we can't cancel the flight.

This was my second time to visit Singapore.
Well, after reading the books of Lee Kwan Yew I told myself I'll go back to this country. I had a chance when I need to exit for my new employment visa. I decided to stay in Singapore since I have some friends there. I had convinced Wilma to come with me as well. And this is her first trip ever; so it needs to be awesome.

On her second day in Singapore, we went to Sentosa and she described this day as the best day. She had enjoyed the Trickeye Museum. It was so much fun as we found out that we had stayed there for three hours. One piece of advice: it's better if you will wear short and tshirt as you need to lie, crawl, climb to get the best picture.

Lesson learned.

I had my interview today at one of the biggest bank in UAE. I had encountered one Filipino guy who is actually looking for a job as well- si kuya Christian. He resigned on his current job due to too much pressure.
He told me how he lost his confidence because of the pressure of the job, that he wished he will be able to find a good job.
He is a fine man, and how I wish God will help him find a good job.
His visa will be cancelled, so he need to find one as soon as possible.

After the conversation we had, I've realized so many things.
I've been a happy go lucky person, that I've been spending a lot.
Yes it is true that we don't meet people by accident, sometimes it's because we need to learn our lesson, we need to see the bigger picture.

I went to church after the interview, I missed the novena.
I also prayed that kuya will be able to find a good job.
I know he will, good thing happen to good people.
remembering what he uttered walang susuko.

I was browsing on my old posts on facebook, when I saw this convo with my bestfriend.
I remember how avid Miley fan I am, and yes, If I will have a daughter, Miley will be included on her name.

and my answer?

 

"You weren't selected" she said. "thank you" I replied.


No one can always win! From time to time we also need to fail. Some say that failure comes to remind us how important one success is and that we don’t have to take it for granted. Failure is connected to human nature and we should not be afraid to fall down sometimes. It only helps us to get up! Fighting to get up is life’s biggest challenge.
Things are different with the fiasco. This is a failure that is not normal and usually appears when somebody forces too much and wishes too much something that normally doesn’t belong to that person. Most people who knew what a fiasco is never recovered from it, because a fiasco is an irreversible failure.- ctto

So how to handle failure? Some confide with their trusted friends, some go out and burst their feelings and some; some just moved on.

I am not good in handling failure, though I am good in disguising my feelings.
I did question myself and even blamed myself. The words keep uttering on my mind; Am I not good enough? Well c'est la vie, as life cannot be perfect and smooth sailing.I have to let go of what happened.

But everytime I look back,  I always fail for a reason, and then I realized that I am destined for a better one.
